Why you need a Wedding Planner

Why Every Bride Needs Her Own Wedding Planner

While being engaged and planning a wedding can be some of the most exciting and long-awaited experiences in any girl’s life, they also bring with them quite a bit of work. And unless you’re one of the most organized, well-connected, and experienced wedding planners in the business, chances are you might feel a little overwhelmed throughout the process of planning your wedding. Most books and online sources will give you a list that will include at least some of the following to-do tasks:
  • Decide on a date, city, and your wedding colors Book a venue
  • Pick your wedding party
  • Buy a dress
  • Have an engagement party
  • Send out save the dates
  • Buy your wedding bands
  • Pick out all of your food, your cake, your music (DJ Live vs Band)
  • Order/make and send out invitations
  • Apply for a marriage license
  • Design and create all of your reception centerpieces and decorations
  • An yes, get married.

And trust us, this is just the tip of the iceberg. So what’s a girl to do? Hire a Wedding Planner!!!

Hiring a wedding planner is one of the smartest, best investments you can make when planning your wedding. And no, we aren’t just saying that because we’re wedding planners. We do what we do because we love helping brides! We’ve seen, firsthand, the stress and chaos that can ensue when brides don’t have someone on their side throughout their planning process. Here are our top 5 reasons for hiring a wedding planner!  Keep reading....

  1. You need someone to keep you on track. We all know how easy it is to procrastinate, and when trying to balance a job, a relationship, a social life, and all of the other things you’re involved in, it’s easy to push your wedding planning to the backburner since it’s still technically months away. A wedding planner’s sole purpose is to keep you on track and make sure things are getting done when they need to – bottom line, we help you not procrastinate by doing the work for you!
  2. You need someone with connections. No one expects you to know the best locations, caterers, or entertainers in any given city, so how can you be expected to get the best for your wedding on your own? Wedding planners make it their job to know all the latest and greatest locations, chefs, deejays, bands, and anything else you could possibly want for you wedding, so you don’t have to worry about searching the internet for a less-than-fabulous vendor.
  3. You need someone to keep you on budget. Weddings can get expensive, and unless you’re a pro at keeping track of your spending and budgets, it can be a lot to handle. Good thing a wedding planner’s first thought is to keep you on budget! Also, most wedding planners have great connections with the vendors you’ll want to work with, and know what a fair price is, so you’ll never have to worry about paying more than you should.
  4. You need a personal advocate. Whether it’s a disagreement with your bridesmaids or your own indecision, a wedding planner is there to help you and support you. We advocate for your best interest and your personal desires, and make sure your voice is heard above all the noise that can surround planning a wedding.
  5. You need to enjoy your big day! There are countless details that go into making a flawless and seamless wedding day, but they shouldn’t be your concern. Your wedding planner is there to ensure that, even if your heel breaks while getting dressed or your cake knife gets lost in transit, it will be taken care of before anyone ever notices. Your only job is to have fun and enjoy your big day alongside your loved ones!
