6 Tips for Entertaining this Holiday Season

6 Tips for Entertaining this Holiday Season

1. Get into the holiday spirit!

It’s impossible to host an energetic holiday party if you aren’t embracing the holiday magic yourself. As you’re cleaning your house or setting up for the party, light some candles and play classic holiday music. Try the Vanilla Bean Noel Candle from Bath & Body Works to fill your house with the smell of Christmas, and for your listening pleasure, try Michael Buble’s Christmas Album. His dreamy voice enhances all of your favorite Christmas tunes.

2. Design your Holiday Menu!

An adorable party menu doubles as a festive table decoration. Plus, it lets your guests know what they can expect to eat at your party. You may be planning on serving appetizers only and keeping the food available all night. Or, you may be planning on sitting down for a full course meal. Either way, your guests will enjoy knowing what kind of food will be served!

3. Warm up with hot drinks!

Hot chocolate and warm apple cider are holiday favorites that can add a fun, family-friendly element to your party. Get creative and set up a drink station. We suggest an adorable hot chocolate bar. Kids and grown-ups alike will love this hands-on treat!

4. Don’t forget drinks strictly for the adult guests!

The holiday season is the perfect time to experiment with festive drinks you've always wanted to try. Pinterest boasts hundreds of holiday drink ideas, but some of our favorites are champagne with cranberry juice, fresh raspberries, and mint or a blackberry ombre sparkler!

5. Dress up for your own party!

As the hostess, you want to dress to impress! But, you don't want to stress yourself out. Plan out your adorable hostess outfit ahead of time, so you aren't running out to the mall the night of your party, scrambling to figure out what to wear. Don’t be afraid to have all eyes on you with a stand out look! After all, you're the real reason they're all here! Try some of these statement looks:

6. Fill your home with holiday magic!

Now that you know what you're wearing, it's time to dress your home up for the party! You may have already decorated your home for the holiday season, but you may want to add some additional touches of cheer for festivities. One of our favorite ways to do that is with cute table décor. Try using rosemary sprig name cards and tree slice chargers for your table setting.
