When throwing a Nashville Predators Hockey themed birthday party for a 6 year old, you need to be creative!
There's something very special when you see the faces of little ones celebrating a birthday, so when I started planning Preston's 6th Birthday I knew it would have to be top notch! I wanted to make sure that all of his favorite things were included and he was very vocal about what he wanted and even what he didn't want!

The perfect Venue
Preston wanted to make sure the location didn't have
restrictions for his younger friends!
In some venues, they may have
restrictions on what the younger guests can and cannot participate in so
we wanted to find a place that would allow all of his friends to have
an amazing time!
After seeing a few places we decided that Jump Zone in Franklin, TN would be the perfect location!
Custom Predator's Jerseys
Preston’s
favorite player is #6 Shea Weber
So of course he has to have a
custom Predators jersey with Preston on the back.
His big brother Brennen is 12 so we had to have one with his name and the #12 on it
Coincidentally also the number of his favorite Predators player, Mike
Fisher
Décor for the tables and wall space
Plates, napkins and table covers were
all National Hockey League!
We bought blue and silver balloons to go
along with the #NashvillePredators theme
We even used real Hockey Pucks as "coasters" for the juice pouches!
The kids had a great time! Snacking on Oreo "pucks" before the pizza was served
Table toppers and wall decor all Hockey Themed can be found at Party City's Nation Wide
Even had time to squeeze in a picture of the two of us before the kids dug in!
He wasn't ready for the pictures all he could think about was CAKE! Ha :-)

I
found amazing medals that we could engrave as the perfect gift for all
his friends!
On the first it read "Victory" and on the back it had his name and "Thanks For Coming!"
He gave them to
each of his friends just
before he cut the cake!
These personalized take away gifts made all the kids feel like winners!
Nashville Predators Hockey Cake
Preston wanted his cake to be vanilla and
specifically asked for nothing that would turn kids teeth blue!
Well, we
came close to making that happen! Just a little bit of blue on the
sides! #NashvillePredators
Dessert Bar
The dessert bar was complete with a large jar of Oreo cookies (our mini hockey pucks!)
Hockey sticks with mini bags of orange wafers made for YUMMY treats!
Hostess Cakes make great "Hockey Pucks"
