Illustrating an obvious French influence, the
Oscar de la Renta Fall 2016 Bridal Collection epitomized couture fashion.
Designer Peter Copping created a luxurious yet classic series of gowns fit for
royalty. The French influence was evident with the corded pansy lace and silk
organza halter neck tie back blouse shown on two dresses in the collection.
One was a strapless silk faille ball gown with a
pleat skirt detail, and the other was a strapless sweetheart bustier 2 ply silk
crepe and scroll leaf lace overlay tiered A-line gown with a satin ribbon sash. 
This strapless sweetheart A-line gown was also shown without the corded pansy lace and silk organza halter neck tie back blouse. It still looked effortlessly romantic.
For brides who are looking for an edgy, sexy look on their wedding day, this sleeveless silk organza petal and petit floral Chantilly lace bustier and silk faille skirt trumpet gown is the perfect match.
Another highlight of the collection is an A-line gown made of sequin and bead floral
embroidered petit floral Chantilly lace with a cap sleeve illusion, bateau
neck, and tulle Watteau back. This youthful gown would be perfect for a fresh spring wedding. On the other hand, a black sash adds a crisp contrast to the dress that makes it also perfect for a chilly winter wedding.
Finally, we think this strapless column gown with a crescent neckline, 3 ply crepe bustier, and corded rose garden Chantilly lace skirt would look amazing on any Nashville bride, especially with the beautiful matching short sleeve jewel neck scallop edge ribbon tie back caraco.
