New York Bridal Market Recap: Rivini Fall 2016 Bridal Collection

Rivini Fall 2016 Bridal Collection

The Rivini Runway show was an icy affair inspired by the coating of the first frost. Designer Rita Vinieris showcased glistening gowns coated with shimmering delicate overlays. When we viewed the collection for a second time at our private writing appointment in New York City, we were captivated by the intricate overlays and capelettes, which exuded the frosty elegance that the designer achieved with this collection.

Another unique icy feature that we adored was the body veil. We think the body veil is perfect for any bride who wants to be draped in gorgeous tulle but does not want to wear a veil in her hair. As you can see, the body veil was absolutely stunning on the runway.

One of our favorite gowns from the collection is a deep v-neck crepe column dress with cut-outs above the waist. We love this gown with the icy rain veil. It creates the perfect sultry look.

We believe brides would also look amazing in this translucent ball gown with a frozen crystal bodice. This dress is perfect for a whimsical winter wedding. The skirt is silk organza, and the bodice is French chantilly lace.

Another one of our favorites is this multi-media gown made of translucent tulle, organza, lace, and crystallization. This unique gown is a great dress for the bride who wants to wear something completely different from any other bride.

Finally, we wanted to highlight a classic gown, perfect for any bride seeking a timeless romantic look. With a Mikado organza ball skirt and translucent lace T bodice, this A-line gown effortlessly layers textures and creates a soft, flattering look. In addition, this dress offers pockets, which are a must-have for many brides.

In all, the Rivini Fall 2016 Bridal Collection elegantly carried out its frosty inspiration in every single chilling gown. We thoroughly enjoyed viewing the collection for the first time at Carnegie Hall during the Rivini Runway Show for New York Bridal Fashion Week. Visit the Rivini website to see the entire Fall 2016 Bridal Collection. For brides who are looking to try on these gowns, please visit b.
